Arrest Over Child Sex Offences
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a series of child sex offences.
Detectives from the PSNI's Public Protection Branch arrested the suspect on Tuesday morning on suspicion of offences relating to possessing, making & distributing indecent images, sexual communication with a child, intimidation to commit an act and sexual activity with a child.
A number of items were seized for further examination.
The man has been taken to Lurgan Custody Suite for questioning.

Kilrea Man Sentenced Following Online Child Sexual Offences Investigation
On Wednesday, 20th May 2026, Cameron Mullen, aged 22 and from Kilrea, was sentenced at Dungannon Crown Court to two years and four months. His conviction covers seven counts of online child sexual offences, and he will also be placed under a Sexual Offences Prevention Order for a period of ten years.
