Appeal Over Aggravated Burglary In Belfast

Police are appealing for information following a report of an aggravated burglary in south Belfast.

Two men gained entry to a flat in the Wolseley Street area at around 3am on Monday morning, 26 August. It's believed they were disturbed by an occupant of a nearby flat.

Police are hunting two suspects.

The first is described as being around 6ft in height, of slim build, with dark short hair and clean shaven. He is believed to have been wearing a dark coloured hooded coat with a green lining, white top, dark track bottoms and dark trainers.

The second male is described as being 5'10" in height, of slim build, with blonde short hair and clean shaven.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area is urged to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 255 of 26/08/19.

At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday, 13 April, police received a report of a fire at a house in the Kilburn Street area. Renewed Appeal For Information On Murder Of Blake Newland
PSNI Major Investigation Team Detectives have renewed an appeal for information one week on from the murder of Blake Newland. The teenager was stabbed multiple times in the Woodland Walk area of Limavady on Friday night, 2 February. Sadly, he later died from his injuries.
