Banbridge Collision Claims Life of Motorcyclist

A man has died after a crash involving a tractor and a motorcycle in Banbridge.

The 33-year-old was driving his motorcycle on the Tullyrain Road when the collision occurred shortly after 10am on Thursday morning, 19 September.

Police said the driver of the tractor was treated at the scene for shock and taken to hospital as a precaution.

Anyone who was in the area and captured the collision on their dash cam, or who saw either vehicle beforehand is urged to contact police on non-emergency line 101, quoting reference number 458 of 19/09/19.

Motorcyclist Killed In Collision Named
A motorcyclist who died in a collision with a tractor in Newry, County Down, has been named. 46-year-old Noel Campbell was from the Rathfriland area, according to the police. The incident occurred on the Rathfriland Road near Ashtree Cottages at around 4.30pm on Monday. The road has since been re-opened.

Motorcyclist dies in County Down road collision
A motorcyclist has died following a road traffic collision in County Down. It is understood the 29-year-old male, named as Martin Francis McDonald, was riding a motorcycle and collided with a car on the Ardnabannon Road in Castlewellan. The incident occurred shortly after 6.30pm yesterday evening.
