Teen Approached In Suspicious Encounter In Bangor

Police are investigating a suspicious approach to a teenage girl in Bangor.

It's understood the youth was walking in the Robinson Road area of the town at around 6.20pm on Monday 04 November when approached by an unknown male.

The man offered her a lift and issued the request for a second time after her refusal, prompting her to run off when he approached her for the third time.

Police said it is not known which direction of the town the man made off in.
