Long Delays Following Newtownabbey Collision

Motorists in Co Antrim are advised to avoid the A2 Shore Road following a two vehicle collision.

The Newtownabbey route is closed in both directions following the crash close to the Regional College between Station Road and Rushpark roundabout.

There are long delays on all approaches.

The road is expected to remain closed for some time with drivers urged to seek an alternative route.

Access to Newtownabbey North Regional College is understood to be closed off while emergency services deal with the incident.

A major road in Co L’Derry is to remain closed today, 07 December, following a serious road traffic collision on Tuesday. The A37 Dunhill Road has been closed from around 8pm following the crash. Diversions have been put in place.

Traffic: Co Down Route Closed
A Co Down road is expected to remain closed for a "significant period" following a collision. Police have cordoned off the Ardglass Road in Downpatrick, between the roundabout at the Downe Hospital and the Ballee Road, following the incident on Monday afternoon. It's understood a lorry was overturned during the collision.
