Two Further Arrests Over Kevin Lunney Abduction

Two men have been arrested in Dublin in relation to the abduction of prominent Co Fermanagh businessman Kevin Lunney.

The pair, both aged 28, were apprehended in the Dublin Region by Gardaí (Irish Police) this morning, Thursday 21 November.

Mr Lunney, a director at Quinn Industrial Holdings (QIH) was kidnapped near his home in Derrylin and brutally beaten before being dumped by the roadside on 17 September.

A cross-border investigation is ongoing.

Detectives from the PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch have made a fresh appeal for information in relation to the murder of Keith Patrick Rogers in 2003 in County Armagh. Mr Rogers, 24, was shot during an incident in the Malachy Conlon Park area of Cullaville on Wednesday 12 March.

Police appeal for information following possible abduction attempt
Police in County Tyrone have appealed for information following a possible abduction attempt yesterday evening. Two men are believed to have approached three children, two girls aged 12 and seven, and a boy aged ten outside a supermarket filling station on the Sweep Road at around 6pm.
