Appeal issued over missing teenager

Police in west Belfast have appealed for help in tracing the whereabouts of a 14-year-old boy who has been missing since the weekend.

Paul McCoubrey was last seen leaving his New Barnsley Park home at 12.30pm on Saturday March 6.

He is described as 5'6", of average build, short cropped dark hair, grey/blue eyes and a pale complexion.

He was wearing navy tracksuit bottoms, navy hooded Reebok sweat shirt and white trainers.

Anyone who may have seen Paul or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police at New Barnsley on 028 9065 0222.

Eight Police Officers Assaulted On Duty Every Day
On average, eight police officers were assaulted while on duty every day over the last five years, according to new statistics released by the PSNI. Commenting on the "stark" statistics, Superintendent Gary Busch from the PSNI's Operational Support Department said: "In 2022/23, we had 3,272 assaults on officers reported to us.

Two Men Arrested In £500,000 Drug Seiure In South Belfast
Two men have been arrested in connection with a £500,000 drug seizure following searches in South Belfast. On Friday, 01 March, detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch stopped and searched two vehicles in the Lisburn Road area. Class B controlled drugs were recovered from both vehicles which were also subsequently seized.

Police Name Victim Of Fatal Collision In Crumlin
Police have named a man who died following a three-vehicle road traffic collision in Crumlin on Thursday, 29th February, as 37-year-old Samuel Stewart. The collision, which occurred in the Ballyhill Road area shortly after 10.

Man Arrested In Connection With Serious Assault In East Belfast
A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a serious assault in east Belfast on Thursday 29th February. At approximately 11.20pm last night police were called to a property in the Montrose Street area following the report of an injured woman.
