Jonathan Cairns: Police Make Two More Arrests

Two further arrests have been made by detectives investigating a murder in Co L'Derry over 20 years ago.

A 51 year-old man was arrested in Limavady and a 43 year-old man in Ballykelly, police have said.

Both are detained on suspicion of withholding information.

Jonathan Cairns was attacked in his home village of Ballykelly as he made his way home from a night out on Sunday 25 April 1999.

His body was found in a shallow grave in Loughermore Forest, just miles from his home, the next day. He was just 18 years-old at the time.

A 44 year-old woman arrested in Dungiven on Tuesday has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Appeal For Missing Man Jonathan Irszak
Police are appealing for information to help trace missing man Jonathan Irszak. Mr Irszak, 35, was last seen leaving his home on the Blackskull Road in Banbridge at around 7am on Tuesday, 23 February. He was expected to arrive at work shortly after, however he never arrived.

Elderly Woman Held Down During Burglary
An elderly woman has been left shaken after being restrained for some time in her Co Antrim home while masked men ransacked the property. The woman, aged in her 70s, was at home in the Creemavoy Road area of Broughshane when the burglars struck on Tuesday evening, 03 December.
