£35k Cocaine Seized In Co L'Derry

Police have seized cocaine worth £35,000 in Co L'Derry.

Officers from the District Support Team said three people were awoken from their sleep during searches in Magherafelt.

The individuals were later arrested.

Man Arrested And Cocaine Seized in Co Antrim
A 53-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of cocaine in Co Antrim. Detective Inspector Alan Pyper from Reactive and Organised Crime Branch explains: "Police stopped a vehicle on the Dundrod Road, Nutts Corner at around 9.30pm last night and recovered a large quantity of suspected cocaine from the vehicle.

Man Charged Over Suspected Cocaine Possession And Intent To Supply
A 42-year-old man has been charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply. He is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court today, 22 October. Police seized a significant amount of suspected cocaine following the search of a vehicle in the Lisburn area on Wednesday.

Arrest Following Drugs Find
One person has been arrested following a drugs find in Strabane, Co Tyrone. On Monday, police searched a property in the Derg Villas area and recovered quantities of suspected cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis and a variety of legal highs. Around £53,000 in cash was also seized from the house.
