Arrests As Car Rams Police Vehicle In Co Armagh

Three people have been arrested after a car rammed a police vehicle in Newry.

The incident involving a black Audi car occurred on Wednesday, 27 November.

A PSNI spokesperson said the car matched the description of a vehicle spotted leaving the scene of a burglary earlier that morning in Belleeks.

The suspects, including two men and a woman, were still in custody as of Wednesday evening.

The facility was uncovered after police had earlier arrested a 45-year-old man in the Castlereagh Street area of Belfast on suspicion of a number of drugs offences. Police Seize 'Substantial Amount' Of Illegal Alcohol In West Belfast
Police came under attack in west Belfast as they attempted to remove two van-loads of seized alcohol on Monday afternoon. Police uncovered a "substantial amount of alcohol" at a commercial property on the Falls Road as they conducted a search under warrant.
