Arrests As Car Rams Police Vehicle In Co Armagh

Three people have been arrested after a car rammed a police vehicle in Newry.

The incident involving a black Audi car occurred on Wednesday, 27 November.

A PSNI spokesperson said the car matched the description of a vehicle spotted leaving the scene of a burglary earlier that morning in Belleeks.

The suspects, including two men and a woman, were still in custody as of Wednesday evening.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of an aggravated burglary at a house in the Cupar Way area of Belfast last night. At approximately 11.00pm two men, one of whom had what is believed to be a hammer, forced their way into a house.

Cannabis Factory Discovered In Newry
A cannabis factory has been discovered by police in Newry. Detectives said the seizure at a house in Annalong was worth almost £60,000. Detective Constable McGaffin said: “Detectives, alongside both Neighbourhood and Local Policing colleagues conducted a search at residential premises at the Main Street area of Annalong.

Police Seize 'Substantial Amount' Of Illegal Alcohol In West Belfast
Police came under attack in west Belfast as they attempted to remove two van-loads of seized alcohol on Monday afternoon. Police uncovered a "substantial amount of alcohol" at a commercial property on the Falls Road as they conducted a search under warrant.
