Teen Arrested After Stabbing At Co Antrim School

A 13 year-old schoolboy has been arrested after a pupil was stabbed at a grammar school in Co Antrim.

A Year 10 student was taken to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children following the incident at Larne Grammar School on Tuesday 07 January. It's understood he is in stable condition and did not suffer any life changing injuries.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. Men Sentenced For Ballymena Drug And Money Laundering Operation
Three men were sentenced for offences linked to a drugs and money laundering operation in the Ballymena area yesterday, 31 January. At Antrim Crown Court, Troy Carley (27), Neil Lowry (30) and Marc Mitchell (32) were sentenced for a number of offences.

Police Shoot Stag Dead Near Grounds Of Antrim Grammar School
A PSNI armed response unit has shot dead a stag near the grounds of a grammar school in Antrim. The stag was seen near Antrim Grammar School on Tuesday morning. A PSNI spokesperson said: "Officers worked hard with animal experts and vets to safely and humanely manage the stag.

NI Teaching Unions Formally Accept Pay Offer
Northern Ireland's five main teaching unions has all voted to accept a formal offer fo the years of 2021, 2022 and 2023. The pay settlement agreed by the Teachers' Negotiating Committee (TNC) includes a rise in the starting salary for teachers in Northern Ireland to £30,000. This is a 24.
