Drugs Worth £75k Seized In Crumlin, Co Antrim

Police have seized suspected drugs worth an estimated £75,000 in Crumlin, Co Antrim.

A haul of class B drugs, related paraphernalia, a sum of money and suspected cannabis plants were discovered during a search of a property on the Lurgan Road on Tuesday evening, 07 January.

A 38 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of offences including the possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply, cultivating cannabis and possession of criminal property. He remains in custody today, Wednesday 08.

Detective Inspector Pete Mullan said: "We will continue to do everything possible to prevent the supply of drugs and identify those involved while at the same time, make people aware of the real danger posed to their health and their lives by illegal drugs."

Members of the public who are aware of any information about the supply of drugs in their local area are advised to contact police on non-emergency line 101.

Detectives Investigate Burglary In North Belfast
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of a burglary at residential premises in the Wilton Street area of north Belfast. Between 7.30am and around 6.25 pm yesterday, 29 January, it was reported that entry was gained to a property in the area.
