Petrol Bombs Thrown At Co Antrim Flat

An investigation is underway after petrol bombs were thrown at a flat in Co Antrim.

Two petrol bombs were thrown at a ground floor property in Brookfield Gardens, Ahoghill on Wednesday night, 22 January.

One device smashed through the living room window and landed in the room where a male occupant extinguished the flames.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact non-emergency line 101.

A man armed with a hatchet left a woman terrified after burgling her house in Co Down over the weekend. A property in the Mill Hill area of Castlewellan was targeted in the early hours of Saturday morning, 15 February. Police said the woman awoke to loud noises at around 5.

Police are appealing for information following an attempt to steal an ATM machine from a shop in Co Antrim. A business on the Largy Road in Ahoghill was targeted shortly after 2.05am this morning, 21 February.
