Three people injured in separate attacks

Two people have been found seriously injured in Co Down last night.

The two men, both in their 20s, were found lying on the ground in Bangor's Lower Main Street by a passing taxi driver.

One of the injured men is said to be in a critical condition in hospital.

Elsewhere, a 17-year-old youth has suffered serious head injuries after being beaten in north Belfast.

The incident occurred outside a shop on the Cliftonville Road at around 1am on Thursday.

The youth is believed to have been attacked by a gang of men.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact police.
