£250k Drugs Seized In Larne
Some £250,000 worth of suspected drugs have been seized in Larne, Co Antrim.
Officers from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch discovered the cocaine, amphetamine and herbal cannabis during a search of a property on the Browndod Road yesterday, Thursday 20 February.
A 51 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and class B drugs with intent to supply.
Detective Inspector Phelan said: The illegal supply and use of drugs is a priority for police and seizures such as this demonstrate our ongoing commitment to tackling the scourge of drugs in our society."
Members of the public with information or concerns about the sale or supply of illegal drugs in their community is urged to contact police on the non-emergency line 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

West Belfast Man Sentenced For Offering To Supply Class C Drugs
A 52-year-old man from west Belfast has been sentenced for his involvement in the supply of illegal substances. Ian Cotter appeared in court in relation to four counts of offering to supply Class C controlled drugs. He was handed a two-month custodial sentence, which has been suspended for three years.
