Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary
Police have issued an appeal for information following the report of an aggravated burglary at the home of an older person in the Newcastle Road area of Portaferry.
At around 6pm on Saturday 31 October four masked men forced their way into the property.
Three female occupants of the house were forced into the living room while two of the men searched the upstairs. It is understood that the men made off from the property empty-handed.
The women were uninjured in the incident but are said to have been left "badly shaken".
Detectives in Bangor CID are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with information regarding this crime, please contact 101.

Police have issued an appeal for information following the attempted theft of an ATM overnight in Co Fermanagh. At around 12:45am a number of masked men attempted to steal an ATM from a premises on the Enniskillen Road in Irvinestown. It is understood that the robbers forced entry into the rear of the premises.

Goods stolen in north Belfast burglary
Detectives in York Road are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in the Somerton Road area of north Belfast. It is understood up to three men forced entry at the rear of the house and escaped with a quantity of electrical goods and jewellery at around 1:30pm yesterday afternoon.
