Man Dies After Collision On A1

A man has died in a road traffic crash on the A1 in Co Down.

The victim, aged in his 30's, was the driver of a blue Mercedes that ledt the carriageway just after 5am on Monday, 02 November.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

PSNI Inspector Quinn said: “An investigation is underway and I would ask anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision, or who captured it on their dash cam, to call officers at the Collision Investigation Unit on 101.”

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fatal collision in Maghera on Thursday 01 December. Police have reported that a man, aged in his 50s, died following a road traffic collision on the Moneysharvan Road on Thursday, 1st December.

Man Dies In L'Derry Collision
A man has died following a car collision in Magherafelt, L'Derry. The man, in his 20s, was driving on the Tobermore Road at around 6.45pm on Thursday. No other vehicle was involved in the collision. The Tobermore Road has since been reopened.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fatal collision in Armagh in the early hours of Sunday, 24 March. A driver and three passengers died when the grey Volkswagen Golf they were travelling in crashed on the Ballynahonemore Road at around 2.10am.

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision near Ballywalter on Monday night. A 27-year-old man died when the car he was driving collided with a wall at the junction of Springvale Road and Ballyatwood Road at about 11.30pm last night.

Man Injured In East Belfast Collision
A man has been injured in a two-car collision in east Belfast. The crash happened on the Upper Newtownards Road just before 10.30am on Tuesday, 23 May. The man has been taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries. The road has been re-opened.
