Man Charged With Assault On Police

A 24-year-old man has been charged with an assault on police and handling stolen goods.

The charges include failing to notify police of required information as required by virtue of Article 4 of Counter Terrorism Act 2008.

He is due to appear at Laganside Magistrates Court on Wednesday 02 December.

Nelson Cheung: Man Charged For Perverting The Course Of Justice
Police investigating the murder of Nelson Cheung have charged a man with perverting the course of justice. The man, 24, has also been charged with possession of class B drugs. He is due to appear in court on 2 June. Mr Cheung, 65, was killed after being stabbed on the Claddy Road in Randalstown on 8 January.

Man arrested over Electoral Office fraud
A 58-year-old man from Co Tyrone has been arrested and charged following a police investigation into irregularities at an Electoral Office in the west of the province. The man was charged with 30 offences, 17 of which relate to theft and 13 of fake accounting. He will appear before a court in Omagh on November 11.

Police investigating the disappearance and possible murder of Damien Heagney have uncovered suspected human remains in County Tyrone. According to reports, the suspected remains were discovered during a search of a reservoir in Cappagh.
