Man Shot In The Leg In L'Derry

A man, aged in his 20s, has been shot in the leg in L'Derry.

The shooting incident occurred in the Meenan Drive area just after 10.30pm on Tuesday, 13 April.

The victim is being treated in hospital.

Police described the attack as a "paramilitary-style assault".

PSNI Inspector Hamilton said: "Those responsible for this barbaric act do not represent the interests of this community, nor do they contribute anything to it.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Man Stabbed During Attack In East Belfast
A man, aged in his 40's, has been stabbed during an attack in east Belfast. The victim was chased by a number of men from the Killagan Bend in the Cregagh area area, heading towards the Greenway just after 11 pm on Monday, 03 May. He was stabbed in the back and the head. The victim remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Man Charged With Over 60 Offences After Gun Incident
A man, aged 32, has been charged with over 60 offences following a gun incident in north Belfast. Two shots were fired in the Silverstream Road/ Manor Street area of the city at around 10.30am on Sunday, 02 May. There were no reports of any injuries.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Colin Horner
A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Colin Horner in Bangor, Co Down. Mr Horner was fatally shot outside a supermarket in from of his young son on 28 May this year. The suspect has been taken to Musgrave police station to be questioned.
