Whiteabbey Nightingale Rehabilitation Facility Stood Down
The Nightingale rehabilitation facility at Whiteabbey hospital is being stood down for Coronavirus patients, the Northern Trust has announced.
The 100-bed facility opened last November as a "step down" hospital for people not ready to return home.
It will now be used as a non-Covid enhanced rehabilitation unit.
Health Minister Robin Swann thanked all of the staff at the centre and said they provided exceptional levels of nursing.

Appeal For Information On 'Nasty' Robbery In Omagh
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a "nasty" robbery in Omagh. Police received a report, that at around 1.30am on Monday, 19th February a man aged in his in his 40s was cycling in the Cranny Road area of the town, alongside the river, when he was set upon by a group of six people, dressed in dark clothing with hoods up.

Limavady Murder Victim Named As 17-Year-Old Blake Newland
A 17-year-old boy murdered in a stabbing in Limavady on Friday, 02 February has been named by the PSNI as Blake Newland. At around 9.35pm last Friday night, police responded to a report that a man, aged his 50s, has been stabbed in an incident in the Limavady area.
