Woman Arrested Over Abuse Allegations At Muckamore Abbey Hospital
A 58-year-old woman has been arrested by police investigating allegations of ill-treatment of patients at Muckamore Abbey Hospital on the outskirts of Antrim.
She was detained in the Antrim area.
Last week, a 52-year-old woman was arrested as part of the investigation and another woman was also arrested this week.
A total of seven people have been informed they are to be prosecuted by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) for a range of offences, including alleged ill-treatment and wilful neglect contrary to the Mental Health Order 1986.
She was detained in the Antrim area.

Three men were sentenced for offences linked to a drugs and money laundering operation in the Ballymena area yesterday, 31 January. At Antrim Crown Court, Troy Carley (27), Neil Lowry (30) and Marc Mitchell (32) were sentenced for a number of offences.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.
