£15k Worth Of Drugs Seized In Armagh

Suspected Class B drugs worth with an estimated street value of £15,000 have been seized during a raid in Armagh.

Police discovered a suspected cannabis factory following the search of a property in the Tullysaran Road earlier this week.

This resulted in a 33-year-old man being arrested on suspicion of several offences, including cultivating cannabis and possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, and he remains in custody, at this time, assisting with enquiries.

Members of the public with any information that could assist police enquiries have been asked to contact the police on non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.

Police Seize Cannabis Worth An Estimated £1m In Belfast
Police have seized herbal cannabis, worth an estimated street value of £1 million, in Belfast. The discovery was made during a stop and search of two vehicles in the Dargan Road area on Tuesday. Suspected Class B drugs were also seized during the search.

Two arrested following police raids
Two men have been arrested following police searches in north Belfast. Two handguns, ammunition, drugs worth an estimated street value of £27,000, documents and around £17,000 in cash, were seized during the raids, which are believed to be linked to organised crime in the city.

Armagh man charged over drugs find
A 45-year-old County Armagh man is to appear in court following a drugs find at the weekend. The man will appear before Armagh Magistrates Court on November 28, facing charges of possession of a Class C drug, possession of a Class C drug with intent to supply, and the cultivation of a Class C drug.
