Appeal For Information After Injured Man Found By The Side Of The Road
Police in County Armagh have issued an appeal for information after a man was found with significant injuries at the side of a road.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was found on the Cortynan Road, near Tynan at 9:30am on Sunday 18 July.
Police have said that man had injuries "consistent with having been beaten with an implement such as an iron bar". It is understood that the man was discovered in a state of undress.
Police have appealed to anyone with any information on the incident, or who may have witnessed anything suspicious, to contact them.

Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following an assault in the Ardilea Park area of Downpatrick in the early hours of Sunday morning, 10 December. A 22-year-old man was found with serious stab wounds at a house in the Killough Road area just after 4am. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Conor McKee
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee. Mr McKee was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in north Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
