Four Men Released Over Lyra McKee Murder

Four men arrested in connection with the murder of Belfast journalist Lyra McKee have been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

The men, aged 36, 39, 45 and 63, were arrested under the Terrorism Act earlier this week.

The investigation is ongoing.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the murder of journalist Lyra McKee. Ms McKee was fatally shot as she observed rioting in L'Derry in April 2019. She was 29 years old. Police investigating her death have arrested four men, aged 19, 20, 21 and 33, under the Terrorism Act.

Two Men Arrested Over Lyra McKee Murder
Two more men have been arrested in connection with the death of Lyra McKee. The journalist was shot dead while observing dissident republican rioting in April 2019 in the Creggan Estate in L'Derry. Police investigating Ms McKee's killing arrested two men, aged 44 and 53, in L'Derry early this morning.
