Translink To Continue Suspended And Diverted Services

Translink has said that it is considering suspending some bus services for a second night, following two hijacking incidents.

The public transport company suspended services on five bus routes at 6:30pm last night, while a number of other bus services were diverted.

In the past week masked men have hijacked and burnt out two buses in Newtownabbey and Newtownards.

Speaking to BBC Radio Ulster's Good Morning Ulster, Translink Chief Executive Chris Conway said that customers should expect "the same level of service" as Monday night.
