Man Attacked With Hammers In Cave Hill Country Park

A man is being treated in hospital after being attacked in Cave Hill Country Park in north Belfast.

Police said that at about 8:40pm on Monday they received a report that a man had been attacked by men armed with hammers.

The man, aged in his 20s, was later found on the Ballysillan Road and was taken to hospital.

Woman attacked in forest park
Police are appealing for information after a woman was attacked in west Belfast. A police spokesperson said that a woman who is understood to be in her 30's, was walking through the lower end of Colin Glen forest park at around 1.30pm on Wednesday, when she was approached and grabbed by a man. A struggle ensued and the man ran off.
