Two Men Charged With Attempted Murder And Kidnap

Two men have been charged with attempted murder and kidnap after a seriously injured man was discovered in a field in Co Antrim.

The charges relate to an incident on 11 October when a injured man was found in the field on the Lisnamurrikin Road in Broughshane.

The men, aged 38 and 39, are to appear via video link before Ballymena Magistrates Court today, 02 December.

All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

19-Year-Old Charged With Attempted Murder In North Belfast
The PSNI have charged a 19-year-old man with attempted murder in connection with a number of incidents in north Belfast. It is understood the man has been detained following a knife attack at Annesley Street at around 4pm on Sunday 12 December. A number of other incidents followed on Vicinage Park and Cranburn Street.

Man Dies In Strabane Collision
Police have issued an appeal for information following a fatal two-vehicle collision outside Strabane, County Tyrone. A man, aged in his 20s, has died after the white Transporter van was involved in a collision with a red Scania cement lorry on the Victoria Road near Ballymagorry at about 3.25pm on Tuesday 07 December.

Stabbing At Belfast College
Two people have been stabbed in an incident at the Millfield campus of Belfast Metropolitan College. One of the injured men is described as being in a critical condition, according to reports. The second injured man is understood to have been detained by police at the scene of the incident and is being treated as a suspect.
