Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In West Belfast

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an aggravated burglary in west Belfast.

Police have said that some time between 6:45pm and 7:07pm on Saturday 22 January, four men forced their way into a house in the Oranmore Street area. The men searched the house before fleeing the scene on foot. The occupant of the house, was not injured during the ordeal but was said to have been left "very shaken up".

Police said that their enquiries are continuing and asked anyone with any information to contact them on 101. Man Hit With Gun During Burglary
A man has been hit with a gun during an aggravated burglary that occurred in the Hillman Street area of north Belfast on Tuesday evening. Police said that at about 20:15 three men dressed in dark hooded tops and with scarves over their faces entered a house in the area. One of the men was armed with a gun.

Appeal For Information On Holylands Arson
Police have issued an appeal for information following a fire at an unoccupied house in the Holylands. Emergency services responded to a fire at a house in Carmel Street, in the Holylands area, at about 9.30pm on Tuesday, 12 October. Firefighters managed to bring the fire under control before it spread to any other properties.

Couple escape injury in petrol bomb attack
A couple in their 20’s have escaped injury following a petrol bomb attack on a house in Co Down. The incident occurred in the Brayside Grove area of Castlereagh at about 2.45am on Wednesday. The bomb hit the front door of the house and shattered a pane of glass however the couple, who were in the house at the time, were left shaken but uninjured.
