Appeal For Information On South Belfast Burglary

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a burglary in south Belfast on Wednesday, 20th April.

Making the appeal, Sergeant Rice said: "Police received a report shortly after 5.20am of a burglary in the Cranmore Avenue area.

"It was reported the occupants of a property heard someone in their home and contacted police.

"Officers checked the property and no one was present, however, it is believed access was gained via a window.

"Searches in the area also uncovered a number of items, including a bicycle from a nearby shed.

"A short time later a male was arrested in the area on suspicion of two counts of burglary and suspicion of two counts of possession of a Class A controlled drug.

"He remains in police custody at this time, assisting with enquiries.

"Our enquiries are ongoing, and I would appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the Cranmore, and surrounding areas, or who may have any information which could assist, to contact us on 101, and quote reference number 169 of 20/04/22."

Men Sentenced For Ballymena Drug And Money Laundering Operation
Three men were sentenced for offences linked to a drugs and money laundering operation in the Ballymena area yesterday, 31 January. At Antrim Crown Court, Troy Carley (27), Neil Lowry (30) and Marc Mitchell (32) were sentenced for a number of offences.

Appeal For Information On Mullach Allainn Burglary
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following the report of a burglary in the Mullach Allainn area of Newry. Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Dougherty said: "Police received a report shortly after 7.50pm on Friday, 3rd March that a burglary had occurred at a property in the area.

Appeal For Witnesses And Information On Ballymena Burglary
Police in Ballymena are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of a burglary at a commercial premises in the Hill Street area. Sergeant McNeill said: "We received a report that this burglary occurred on Sunday, 15th January sometime between 12pm and 9pm.
