PSNI Investigating Criminal Damage Of Banbridge Gravesites
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of criminal damage to gravesites at a church graveyard on the Lurgan Road, Banbridge.
Making the appeal, Sergeant Stewart said: "We received a report shortly after 11.30am on Sunday, 29th May that a headstone had been vandalised and kicked over, causing it to split.
"Grave ornaments and flowers had also been thrown around two other gravesites and there was also some evidence of drug misuse in the area.
"This is an appalling act of criminal damage. A graveyard is a place for quiet reflection to peacefully pay respects to loved ones who are no longer with us. The damage caused to these gravesites shows a total lack of respect and is very upsetting for grieving loved ones.
"Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing. We would ask if you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area or if you have information that would help our investigation to contact us on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 860 of 29/05/22."

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.

Renewed Appeal For Information In West Belfast Murder Investigation
The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have renewed an appeal for information following the death of a man in west Belfast. A murder investigation was launched after a man was found seriously injured and unconscious in the Cupar Street area of the city on Wednesday evening, 6 March. The man passed away in hospital later that same night.

PSNI Investigates Arson Attack In L'Derry
The PSNI have launched an investigation into an arson attack in L'Derry on Monday, 11 March. At around 11.30pm last night, it was reported to police that two vehicles were on fire in the Grainan Drive area. Police and NIFRS attended the scene. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. Two other vehicles were also damaged as a result of the fire.
