Appeal For Information On 'Racially-Motivated' Assault

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the assault of a woman in L'Derry which is believed to have been racially-motivated.

A woman was walking in the Dungiven Road area of the city at about 2pm on Sunday 11 September when she was attacked by unknown man.

According to police the woman was "verbally assaulted by the man who also kicked her to the upper leg and thigh area and pushed her a few times".

Police described the attack as "completely unprovoked" and have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.

BCC Welcomes Conviction Of Belfast Man For Dog Attack
Belfast City Council (BCC) has welcomed the conviction of a man at Belfast Magistrates Court for an offence involving a dog attack on a woman. BCC brought the prosecution against 43-year-old Stuart Grace, of Forthriver Crescent, Belfast, following a report that Mr Grace’s German Shepherd dog had attacked a woman, injuring her arm and back.

Appeal For Information On Serious Assault In Portadown
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a serious assault in Portadown that it being investigated as a 'disability hate crime'. On Saturday, 24 February, at around 5.20pm, police received a report that a young man had been attacked by six teenage boys in the High Street Mall area.
