Consilium supplies TASK to Bradford Community Housing Trust
Consilium Technologies, a leading supplier of IT solutions for Local Government will be providing newly formed Bradford Community Housing Trust with an extensive suite of TASK modules.
Following a thorough evaluation process of competing systems BCHT chose the TASK solution as it will enable the Trust to dramatically optimise their opportunities to provide a first class service to tenants.
Bradford Community Housing Trust Group is a newly formed group of local housing trusts which own and maintain 24,000 homes across the Bradford area and an employee total of over 1000. The Group officially took control of the housing stock on February 2003 following tenant support for the transfer of the ownership and management of the homes from Bradford Council.
The TASK solution will enable BCHT to enhance all areas of operational and financial management, ensuring an excellent level of service is provided to tenants. Significant advantages include cost efficiencies, maximised operational processes and management reporting data.
The modules selected by BCHT from the core TASK portfolio include: Repairs, Appointments, Labour Management, Customer Care and the Ledgers. When fully implemented the system will be used by 55 concurrent users in the Building Maintenance and Housing Departments to service all 24,000 council properties.
Stage 1 of implementation is expected by the end of October 2004 with further roll out of mobile working and associated technologies during 2005.

Ronnie Geddis of Consilium said: “This is a significant contract for Consilium fought against some strong competition however the final decision rested on our superior fully integrated product, our experience within the Housing market place and the ability to deliver a comprehensive integrated solution to a complex ITT requirement.”
Consilium Technologies has been providing IT solutions to the Local Government market for the last 19 years and the TASK solution is currently installed in over 50 Local Authority and RSL sites across the UK.

Housing Association Achieves Excellence

Consilium business solutions notch up record success
Belfast-based Consilium Technologies have announced taking onboard a record number of customers since the start of April. Consilium have added 13 live customers and a further nine through their first year end with TASK Financials, one of the most widely used finance systems among small UK councils.

Consilium brings Task under its wing
