Appeal For Information On South Belfast Street Robbery
PSNI Detectives have issued an appeal for information following a reported robbery in the Drumart Drive area of south Belfast on Sunday, 13th November.
Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Ash said: "At approximately 11.35pm we received a report that a man in his fifties had been attacked by three men unknown to him.
"The man was struck on the head by a brick, and his mobile phone was stolen. He sustained a head injury in the attack and was taken to hospital by colleagues from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. Damage was also caused to a motorbike in the area.
"This was a nasty incident which has left the victim badly shaken. One of the suspects was accompanied by a German Shepherd-type dog, and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen these men in the Drumart Drive area, or who may have any dash-cam or CCTV footage that could assist with our enquiries. BCC Welcomes Conviction Of Belfast Man For Dog Attack
Belfast City Council (BCC) has welcomed the conviction of a man at Belfast Magistrates Court for an offence involving a dog attack on a woman. BCC brought the prosecution against 43-year-old Stuart Grace, of Forthriver Crescent, Belfast, following a report that Mr Grace’s German Shepherd dog had attacked a woman, injuring her arm and back.
