DCI Caldwell Investigation: More Time To Question Two Men
Detectives investigating the attempted murder of DCI John Caldwell have been granted more time to question two men in connection with the case.
A court in Belfast has granted an extension to the detention of the 47-year-old suspect until 10pm on Thursday 2nd March. Earlier a court granted an extension to the detention of a 71-year-old man until 10pm on Wednesday, 1st March.
Both men remain in custody in the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave Police Station.
Four other men arrested, aged 22, 38, 43 and 45 have been released following questioning, the investigation continues.
Major Investigation Team detectives continue to ask for the public's help and would appeal to witnesses or those with information to get in touch by calling 101.
Detectives are also highlighting a reward of up to £20,000 from Crimestoppers, who are a charity and independent of the police. The reward is offered for information given directly to Crimestoppers that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for John's attempted murder. Information, including photos, CCTV and dash-cam footage, can also be provided to police through the Major Incident Public Portal at mipp.police.uk/operation/PSNI23S03-PO1.

Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In Cookstown
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary at the Queens Avenue area of Cookstown on Friday 3rd February. Shortly after 10pm, it was reported that four masked men entered a property in the area with one of the men armed with an iron bar and another man armed with a suspected firearm.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.

Detectives investigating the murder of Malcolm McKeown at a petrol station in Co Down have made two arrests. The 54 year-old father of three was found slumped in his car after being shot six times outside Dewart's Garage in Waringstown on Monday 19 August.
