Meeting held over Enniskillen traffic congestion

NIO Minister, John Spellar has met councillors in Enniskillen to discuss concerns over traffic congestion.

At an informal meeting with local councillors the Minister discussed the traffic congestion problems in the area and listened to Members’ calls for the provision of Cherrymount Link Road and an Enniskillen southern bypass.

“I am pleased to have the opportunity to visit Enniskillen to see for myself the infrastructure problems and to hear the concerns of local representatives," Mr Spellar said following the meeting.

The Minister said he would take into account the specific needs of Enniskillen, raised by councillors, before publishing the Regional Strategic Transport Network – Transport Plan later this year.
