Man In Critical Condition Following Collision In Newcastle

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a single-vehicle road traffic collision in the Castlewellan Road area of Newcastle.

Making the appeal, Inspector Heatley said: "Police received a report shortly before 3am on Sunday, 28th May that a pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a car.

"Emergency services attended and a man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment. He remains in a critical but stable condition at this time.

"Our investigation is continuing and we are appealing to anyone who was travelling in the Castlewellan Road area around this time and date and who has dash-cam footage, to contact police on 101, and quote reference number 297 of 28/05/23."

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Dies In Co Fermanagh Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Co Fermanagh. The one-vehicle collision happened on the Tattymacall Road in Lisbellaw at approximately 5.10pm on Monday, 05 September. The road has been re-opened. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
