Man shot dead outside primary school
A man was gunned down as he left a primary school in Co Antrim this morning.
The incident occurred as children were arriving for classes at Oakwood Integrated Primary School in the Derriaghy area of south Belfast shortly before 9am.
It is believed the victim, named locally as Kevin McAlorum, had just dropped off some children at the school when his car was rammed by a white Transit van. Two men jumped from the man and shot him several times before making off in a nearby Nissan Almera car.
No one else was injured during the incident however a number of parents and children were left severely shocked as a result of what they saw and heard.
Parents have been returning to the school throughout the morning to take their children home.
A dark coloured car believed to have been used by the attackers has been found abandonded a short distance away.

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, as the snow is continuing to affect many roads. Areas which have been majorly disrupted include Lisburn, Castlereagh and Carryduff.
