Tobacco Seized In Newtownards Search Operations
A quantity of tobacco, cash and laptops have been seized in a joint Paramilitary Crime Task Force and HMRC operation in Newtownards.
As part of an ongoing investigation into criminality linked to North Down UDA, officers searched two properties in the Queen Street area today, 10 October.
The seized items have been removed for further forensic examination.
Detective Inspector Corrigan said: "This collaboration with our partner agencies demonstrates our ongoing commitment to targeting and disrupting the activities of these groups.

Man Charged Over £60k Cannabis Find
A man is facing charges for drugs offences after police seized around £60,000 of cannabis in County Down. The drugs were discovered during a vehicle stop and search in Moira on Thursday, 19 September. Detectives have charged the 49-year-old man with possession and possession with intent to supply a Class B controlled drug.

A man has been charged with drugs offences in Co Antrim. The 42-year-old man was charged after police seized £30,000 of suspected herbal cannabis in the Ballymoney area. He was arrested on the Frosses Road on Monday. He has been charged with possession of a class B controlled drug and possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

Airport Seizures: Men Held
A passenger arriving from the Continent into Belfast International Airport has been arrested after the seizure of 250g cocaine. The 26-year-old Londonderry man was held after the cocaine with a street value of some £15,000-£20,000 was found during a search of luggage on a flight from Amsterdam.

Cannabis Seized In Newcastle Search Operation
Cannabis worth an estimated £15,000 has been seized at a house in the Dunwellan Park area of Newcastle in a PSNI operation on Monday, 03 June. Two men aged 19 and 50 were arrested on suspicion of a number of drugs offences and have been released on bail to allow for further enquiries.
