Trainee Firefighters To Participate In Charity Car Wash Event

Trainee Firefighters will trade hoses for sponges on Saturday, 02 December, in a charity car washing event to raise funds for the Firefighters Charity, Northern Ireland's Hospice and Sands.

Announcing the event, NIFRS Area Commander Paul Rogers said: "Our Trainee Firefighters are geared up to wash cars for causes close to our hearts.

"We invite everyone to visit our Learning and Development Centre on Boucher Crescent, where you can get your car shining, enjoy the atmosphere, and most importantly, make a donation to these very worthy causes."

The Fire Fighters Charity supports serving and retired fire and rescue service personnel, their dependants and other eligible members of the UK fire services community, throughout their lives, helping them to live happier and healthier.
