Women Threatened With Firearm In Newtownabbey

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses to an incident in Newtownabbey, during which two women were threatened with what's believed to have been a handgun.

At around 9pm on Tuesday 5 December, two masked men approached the rear door of a property of a home in Rogan Manor. The pair threatened the female occupants, aged 39 and 17, before leaving on foot in the direction of the Antrim Road.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who noticed the two men in the area or anyone with any other information which may assist police enquiries. Please call 101, quoting 1835 05/12/23. Information can also be submitted via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.

Counterfeit Designer Clothing Seized In Dungiven
A 28-year-old man has been arrested following a search in Dungiven that uncovered counterfeit clothing, trainers, handbags and watches valued at over £500,000, representing a significant loss to the designers. The arrest was made and a substantial quantity of counterfeit goods was recovered following searches of a residential and business property.

Delivery Driver Threatened With Iron Bar In Donaghadee
A delivery driver has been threatened with an iron bar in Donaghadee, Co Down, on Monday morning. The incident occurred on the Killaughey Road at approximately 6.30am. Two men pulled the driver from his van, threatened him with an iron bar and demanded money. They made off with a sum of cash in a dark coloured car.
