Appeal Issued On Hit-And-Run In Armagh

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run road traffic collision in the Moy Road area of Armagh on the night of Saturday 9th December.

It was reported that a man had been knocked down at around 10.35pm. The man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital by the ambulance service, for treatment to leg injuries.

A wing mirror was located at the scene and at this stage police believe that the vehicle involved was a dark coloured Volkswagen, which made off following the collision.

Officers have appealed to anyone who notices a car matching this description, without a wing mirror or with other damage, to contact Police on 101 and quote reference number 1820 of 9/12/23.

Anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the collision, or who has dashcam or other footage should also contact Police.

Man Killed In County Armagh Road Crash
Police have issued appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in County Armagh. A man, aged in his 60s, has died after his car left the road and collided with a tree on the Bessbrook Road near Markethill on Thursday, 11 January. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no one else in the vehicle at the time of the collision.

Appeal Following Serious Assault And Robbery In Antrim
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.

PSNI Appeal For Information On Fatal Collision Outside Tandragee
The PSNI have named a man who died following a road traffic collision outside Tandragee, as 84-year-old Sidney McIldoon. Mr McIldoon, who was from Portadown, died following a collision between his vehicle and a tractor on Tuesday afternoon, 13th February on the Cornascriebe Road, between Tandragee and Hamiltonsbawn.
