PSNI Detectives Revisit The Scene Of Kevin Conway Murder
One week on from the murder of Kevin Conway, detectives from the PSNI's Major Investigation Team have revisited the scene in the Greenan area of west Belfast.
Speaking from the scene yesterday, Detective Chief Inspector Neil McGuinness said: "Today, 16 January, is one week on since this brutal attack took place. It was last Tuesday night, at approximately 9.30pm, when Kevin was murdered in his own home. He was shot multiple times and, sadly, pronounced dead at the scene.
"We will work tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice, and tonight our officers have revisited the immediate area. We've been speaking with pedestrians, drivers and passengers, and have carried out extensive house-to-house enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector McGuinness continued: "This ruthless killing has left a loving family heartbroken. They're going through unimaginable sorrow and pain, while an entire community is left in shock.
"I'm appealing to you, if you have any information, to please come forward. I know it's not easy, but I'm keen to offer assurance that information can be passed to Crimestoppers with total anonymity."
Crimestoppers, who are independent of police, are offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Kevin's murder. Appeal Following Petrol Bomb Attack In Banbridge

Appeal Following Serious Assault And Robbery In Antrim
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.

Detectives are to revisit the scene of last week’s murder of 25-year-old Jameson Lockhart later on Friday. There will be checkpoints on the lower Newtownards Road and Templemore Avenue in east Belfast close to where Mr Lockhart was shot dead. Detectives said they wanted to talk to motorists who were in the area last Friday morning.
