Police Name Victim Of Fatal Collision In Crumlin

Police have named a man who died following a three-vehicle road traffic collision in Crumlin on Thursday, 29th February, as 37-year-old Samuel Stewart.

The collision, which occurred in the Ballyhill Road area shortly after 10.10pm, and involved a grey Audi A6, a black Citroen Volcane and a silver Volkswagen Golf, remains under investigation by the Collision Investigation Unit.

Mr Stewart, from the Belfast area, was the driver of the Audi A6 and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman, aged in her twenties, who the passenger of the Volkswagen Golf, was also sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men and a woman were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dash-cam footage or mobile phone footage which could assist officers with their enquiries is asked to contact Police on 101, quoting reference number 2104 29/02/24.

Suspected Firearm Recovered During PSNI Operation In Ardmore
The PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit (TIU) have recovered a suspected firearm in Ardmore in L'Derry. During a search in the Rushall Road area, the suspected firearm was located in the vicinity of a graveyard. Enquiries continue, and the suspected firearm will now be the subject of forensic testing.

BCC Welcomes Conviction Of Belfast Man For Dog Attack
Belfast City Council (BCC) has welcomed the conviction of a man at Belfast Magistrates Court for an offence involving a dog attack on a woman. BCC brought the prosecution against 43-year-old Stuart Grace, of Forthriver Crescent, Belfast, following a report that Mr Grace’s German Shepherd dog had attacked a woman, injuring her arm and back.

Appeal Following Serious Assault And Robbery In Antrim
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.

Investigation Launched Following Fatal Crash In Co Antrim
Police have launched an investigation following a fatal crash in Co Antrim. The collision, between a bus and a car, happened in Randalstown at around 2.45pm on Sunday, 11 February. A 58-year-old woman died as a result of injuries she sustained in the incident. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

PSNI Investigate Fatal Collision On Cornascriebe Road
The PSNI have launched an investigation into the cause of a fatal collision on the Cornascriebe Road, between Tandragee and Hamiltonsbawn, on Tuesday 13th February. Police received a report shortly after 2.30pm of a collision involving a car and a tractor.
