Appeal Following Fatal Collision On Curr Road

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a fatal road traffic collision on Tuesday, 05 march between Omagh and Ballygawley.

Shortly before 7.25pm on Tuesday evening, police received a report of a collision on the Curr Road involving a white BMW 320 and blue Scania lorry.

Emergency service responded to the report and a man 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other passengers in the car, and the driver of the lorry was uninjured.

The road remains closed at this time and local diversions are in place. A full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the road traffic collision is ongoing.

Sergeant Green from the Police Service's Collision Investigation Unit said: "Officers would appeal to anyone with any information or who may have dash-cam or mobile phone footage available to contact them at the Collision Investigation Unit at Sprucefield on 101, quoting reference number 1675 05/03/24."

Man Dies In Fatal Collision In Maghera
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fatal collision in Maghera on Thursday 01 December. Police have reported that a man, aged in his 50s, died following a road traffic collision on the Moneysharvan Road on Thursday, 1st December.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
