Appeal Issued Following Two Car Collision In Lisbellaw

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the Tattygare Road, Lisbellaw.

Police received a report before 6.15pm on Tuesday 14 May that a collision has taken place involving a scrambler type motorcycle and white Hyundai Tucson.

Inspector Ross said: "Officers attended, alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service who provided treatment to the rider of the scrambler vehicle at the scene, a 19-year-old man. He was transported a short time later to hospital for treatment to head and arm injuries. Which are believed to be serious at this time.

"The driver of the Hyundai Tucson did not require medical treatment. The Tattygare Road which was closed for a time to allow for emergency service access, has now fully reopened to road users."

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information or anyone with dash-cam or mobile phone footage can

contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1439 14/05/24.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
