Teenager Charged With Attempted Murder

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Serious Crime Branch have charged an 18-year-old man in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in the Ormeau Road area of south Belfast on Saturday, 1st March.

The man has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, relating to the stabbing.

In addition, he faces separate charges of threats to kill, criminal damage, and possession of an offensive weapon, concerning offences committed between Monday, 24th February and Friday, 7th March.

The accused is scheduled to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 19th March, to face all charges.

As is standard practice, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Men Charged With Attempted Murder Following North Belfast Stabbing
Two men, aged 28 and 30, are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court today (20 April) charged with attempted murder in connection with a stabbing incident in north Belfast. On Monday 18 April a man suffered "life-changing injuries" in a knife attack following an altercation on Clifton Drive.
