Police Investigate Suspected Arson At Strathfoyle Play Park

Police are investigating a fire that occurred at a play park in Strathfoyle last night, Wednesday 14th May, which caused damage to some of the equipment.

The incident, believed to have happened at approximately 10:30 pm, is currently being treated as arson as enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area last night and witnessed any suspicious activity, or who may have relevant footage, to come forward.

Two Arrested After Gun Fired In Play Park
Two people have been arrested after a gun was fired at a play park in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Beverley Street area, off the Shankill Road, on Thursday. A man, who was brandishing a shotgun, fired a shot into the air and left the park with a woman. Local residents stopped the pair in Beverley Street.
