Police Appeal For Information After Sexual Assault In West Belfast
Police are reissuing their appeal for information following a report of a sexual assault in the Glen Road area of West Belfast on Monday, 19 May.
Chief Inspector Claire Hamilton stated that at approximately 5:50am, police received a report that a female jogger had been approached by an unknown male and subjected to an assault.
The male, who fled in the direction of the Falls Road, is described as being in his mid to late teens, white, of slim build, and was wearing a dark coloured coat with the hood up. "Enquiries are continuing and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or to anyone with any CCTV or other footage that could assist with the investigation, to contact police on 101 quoting 191 19/05/25,” Chief Inspector Hamilton said.

Police have renewed an appeal for information following an incident in Clogher in which two men, one of them a police officer, were assaulted. Issuing the appeal Sergeant Gracey said: "Shortly before 12.55am (on) Thursday 30 June, officers received and responded to a report of an assault at premises at Corick Road, Clogher.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
