Two men shot in separate attacks

Two men have been shot in separate paramilitary-style shootings in Belfast on Sunday.

In south Belfast, three masked men burst into a house at Lecale Street at around 11pm and shot the occupant in the legs. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Elsewhere, a 27-year-old man was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds to both feet following an attack in north Belfast.

The incident occurred in the Elmfield Street area at around 2.40am.

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in west Belfast. The attack happened at a house in Glenwood Court, Poleglass, at around 8.15pm on Thursday, 20 October. He has been named locally as Joe Reilly, aged 43.

Man Shot In Legs
There has been another 'paramilitary-style' shooting near Belfast. A man has been taken to hospital after being shot in both legs on the outskirts of Lisburn and west Belfast. Four men entered the man's home in the Laburnum Row area of Twinbrook shortly before 10.

Two men shot in paramilitary style attack
Two men have been treated in hospital for gunshot wounds to their legs following a paramilitary style shooting in north Belfast on Monday. The victims, aged 41 and 42, are believed to have been attacked in the Tyndale Grove area of the city shortly before 10pm.
