Investigation into train death continues
The Northern Ireland Health and Safety Executive are continuing to investigate the death of a train driver in Co Londonderry at the weekend.
The body of Nigel Shiels, 36, from Coleraine, who was working on the 11.25am service from Londonderry on Saturday, was found by police beside the railway line in Eglinton, close to the City of Derry airport.
Northern Ireland Railways immediately launched a full investigation and confirmed that rail services between Derry and Coleraine were cancelled for the time being.
Northern Ireland Railways owners, Translink issued a statement expressing its sympathy to Mr Shiels' family and friends.

£2.4m Funding For Portadown Railway Station
£2.4m funding has been secured for the redevelopment of Portadown Railway Station. Transport Minister Danny Kennedy secured the European Regional Development funding of £2.44m, which will go towards the £3.6m cost of the project.

Severe Winds Cause Chaos
The Met Office has predicted severe gales across Northern Ireland today. Gusts of over 90 mph may hit some areas and a severe weather warning has been announced for Tuesday. Many roads have been closed because of trees falling and a number of power lines have also been damaged.
